To be clear: an unconfirmed transaction in Ethereum is a transaction that has not yet been confirmed by the validators of the Ethereum network. Essentially, these transactions are in a “pending” state until they are verified and added to the blockchain.

The time it takes for a transaction to go through the verification process can vary significantly depending on several factors, including:

• Complexity of the transaction: Transactions consisting of several steps (for example, sending and receiving assets) require more time to be verified than simple transactions.

• Validator load: the number of validators currently checking transactions can affect processing speed.

On average, a transaction goes through the verification process on Ethereum in about 10 minutes, but this time can vary from a few seconds to several hours or even days, depending on the factors mentioned above.

Considering that you sent the transaction yesterday and it took more than 22 hours to process it, it is most likely still waiting for verification. However, I must emphasize that there are no guaranteed processing times, and the Ethereum verification process can be unpredictable at times.
